Send money home, at a rate you agree first.

Pay by card in your own currency. We check the recipient's name with their bank before you send, show you exactly what they will receive, and hold that price while you decide.

Built around one question

Did my money arrive? Everything here exists to answer that before you have to ask it.

The name is checked before you send

We ask the recipient's bank who owns that account number and show you the answer. A typo gets caught before the money moves, not after.

Your currency in, naira out

Pay from a card in pounds, dollars or euros. The money arrives as naira in a Nigerian bank account, usually within minutes, and you can see where it is the whole way.

Up and running in minutes

Download the app, verify who you are, and you're in. That's the whole process.

Download the app

Get Moneque from the App Store or Google Play. Under a minute to install.

Verify your identity

One government document and a selfie. Anyone sending money across a border has to do this, and it takes about two minutes.

Add who you are sending to

Type their account number and we suggest the bank. Their name comes back from the bank itself, so you can be sure before you pay.

Pay by card

See the rate, the fee and what they receive. Pay, and follow it until it lands.

Protected by default

Sending money means handing over your identity and your card. Here is exactly what happens to both, and what we never keep.

01. The name is checked

Their bank confirms who owns the account

02. The price is locked

Rate, fee and payout, held while you decide

03. Your PIN, then the card

We keep the last four digits, never the number

04. It lands, and you are told

₦147,510.00 to Chidi O.

More protections

Your card number is never stored

It passes to the payment processor and is not written down. What we keep is a token, the scheme and the last four digits.

A PIN on the app and on paying

Face ID or a PIN to open it, and your PIN again before a saved card is charged. The app locks itself the moment you put the phone down.

Identity checked on every account

A real document check, not a formality. It is what the law asks of anyone moving money, and it is what keeps your account yours.

The parts that usually go wrong

Sending money abroad has a few reliable ways of going badly. Each one of these is something the app was designed against, not a feature added on top of it.

You see the name, not just the number

Most apps on this corridor take an account number and hope. We confirm who owns it with their bank and show you before you commit.

The price you were shown is the price

Our margin is in the rate on the screen. Nothing appears later, and a transfer we cannot deliver is refunded in full including the fee.

Always open

Your account works at 3pm on a Tuesday or 3am on a Sunday. There is no difference and no branch.

One thing properly, then the next

Sending money to Nigeria is the whole app today. These are what we are building on top of it, in this order, and none of them are in the app yet.

  1. Next

    A naira balance

Keep money in the app between transfers instead of paying by card every time, and send from it in a tap.

  2. After that

    Bills, paid from here

Airtime, electricity and cable for the people you already send to, without the money going through them first.

  3. Later

    A dollar card

A virtual card for subscriptions and shopping priced in dollars, funded from the balance above.

  4. Ongoing

    More places to send from

Pounds, dollars and euros today. The list of countries we collect from is what grows first.

Send your first transfer today.

Verify once, add who you are sending to, and see the rate before you pay. Setting up takes less time than reading this page.

In final review on both stores. The corridor above is live today.
